A chef who took her dogs on a trip to see snow for the first time died in a horror crash when her car skidded off an icy road on their way back home.
Animal rights campaigner Labibi Amaral Mello, from Marilia, Brazil, had been on a special holiday in Argentina with her dogs and her mum.
Labibi had wanted to see her pet pooches' joy when they experienced snow, which almost never falls in tropical Brazil.
Heartbreakingly cute video footage of the experience posted on 23rd July shows Golden Retriever Dom excitedly prowling through the snow.
Then Chihuahua Ravi is seen scampering through the slush complete with knitted paw booties.
Labibi captioned it: "We never forget our first time in the snow! That's what happened on the 19th. We'll never forget that feeling."
But just four days after posting the clip, 39-year-old Labibi lost control of the car on an icy road during a blizzard on the drive home and overturned on 27th July.
Her mother and dogs survived and are doing well, according to family reports.
Chef and gastronomy teacher Labibi was an animal rights advocate and had 14,000 followers on her Instagram profile, where she posted footage from the trip.
She had told her followers seven months ago as she was preparing for the trip: "I will dedicate myself to a bold and incredible plan, just to see Dom in the snow, especially for him to have this pleasure."
The Animal Support, Rescue, and Rehabilitation Group (Garra) that Labibi often worked with said: "We can't even thank her enough for everything she's done during that time, mobilising people, helping, representing us.
"Labibi is one in a million, a rare person. Our hearts are in pieces. We will never forget you, Labibi."
Police are investigating the crash.
