This is the moment a man is nearly crushed by flying debris after a boiler suddenly explodes inside a glass factory.
The blast happened in a residential area of Tan Son Nhi ward, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, at around 1am on 15th August.
Footage filmed at the scene shows the instant the explosion sent fragments of the building flying everywhere as a man narrowly avoids being struck.
The video shows corrugated iron sheets and broken masonry scattering across the hall where the man is sitting as he gets up to flee.
The force of the blast collapsed the corrugated iron roofs and steel frames of two neighbouring houses.
Walls of the properties were torn down and household items were flung into the street.
Residents said they first heard a loud boom from inside the stained glass pressing factory before realising the scale of the damage.
Authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the explosion.
An investigation into the cause of the boiler blast is ongoing.
