This is the moment a woman is left dangling 30 feet in the air from a giant wheel after her safety belt came loose during a ride at a fair.
The incident happened at Yash Amusement Park in Balodabazar district, in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, and was caught on video which emerged on 10th August.
The footage shows the woman clinging to the outside of the ride’s cabin as it moves, with the crowd below shouting in alarm.
The ride is stopped and a man is seen climbing up to reach her.
He holds her hand and helps her into the cabin below as the cheering crowd below applauds the successful rescue.
According to reports, her safety belt had been secure when the ride began, but came loose as it descended, leaving her hanging outside.
Local officials have launched an inspection of all rides in the park following the incident.
Balodabazar police said checks are being made on the condition and safety of every attraction to prevent a similar situation in future.
