This is the shocking moment a motorist causes a horrific crash with a motorbike by not looking in his mirror and, instead of checking on the badly injured rider, gets out and inspects his car.
The accident happened in the Surgut district of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Russia, on 5th August.
Dashcam footage shows the car beginning a U-turn directly into the path of the overtaking motorcyclist without apparent warning.
The bike slams into the front of the vehicle, throwing the rider violently to the ground as debris scatters across the road.
Some reports indicate that he was so badly injured, he ended up having a leg amputated.
As the badly-hurt motorcyclist lies motionless on the tarmac, the driver is seen stepping out of the car and walking around it to examine the damage while ignoring the rider.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for the Surgut district said the motorcyclist had been travelling through a controlled intersection when the collision occurred.
