This is the agonising moment a wannabe bullfighter is gored in the butt and shoulder as he shows off for the crowd during a fiesta in Mexico.
Daring Roberto Pozos, 35, had leapt the barriers at the bull run at the Xiquenada festival in Xico on 22nd July armed with a home-made cape and a fake sword.
Video footage of the festival shows Pozos as he takes on one golden-coloured bull with a series of daring spins and pirouettes like a real-life matador.
As the crowd cheers 'ole', he confuses the bull with a flurry of fancy moves and then drops to his knees with his hands on his hips side-on to the beast.
But as he smugly soaks up the applause, he fails to see a second bull thundering towards him from the other direction.
The half-tonne black bull hits him with full power driving its horns into his right hip sending him flying.
Then, while he is still in mid air, the bull gores him again driving its horn into his right shoulder and tossing him into the air.
As he lands in a crumpled heap Pozos curls up into a ball until stewards and other spectators can keep both bulls at bay giving him time to flee.
When he gets up, a pool of blood can be seen on the pavement and more blood can be seen streaming from his shoulder.
Pozos was reportedly rushed to hospital for emergency surgery, where he is recovering from his wounds.
Event officials later reported that 11 people had been injured during the festival, held every year in honour of the town's patron saint Mary Magdalene.
