SKY FOOLS – German Cops Deny Brit BASE Jump Until They See It Online

Berlin police were forced to backtrack over claims they had no evidence a British daredevil had BASE-jumped from the city’s tallest tower after he posted images and video of the leap online.
The jump took place in Germany's capital at around 4am on Tuesday, 29th July, and the footage was later shared on social media by extreme sportsman George King, 25.
King filmed himself standing on a narrow rooftop railing atop the 176-metre (577-foot) Estrel Tower before parachuting down to a deserted, unopened section of the A100 Autobahn at sunrise.
Despite widespread footage of the event – including drone video showing the full descent – a police spokesperson initially told local media there were "no indications" the jump had taken place.
But King's own detailed clips and photographs from the top of the tower, filmed before and during the jump, left little doubt over what had happened.
Video shared by King with Newsflash shows him preparing at the edge of the structure, waving before stepping off into the air. Seconds later, he deploys his parachute and glides safely to the ground.
The entire stunt was also recorded by a drone operator flying alongside him. King later described the flight as "surreal and dystopian," and praised the drone footage as the best ever shot of one of his jumps.
King has now completed jumps from three of Berlin’s tallest buildings, having previously leapt from the Park Inn in 2022 and the Amazon Tower in 2023.
