This is the moment a lorry overtaking on a two-lane motorway smashes head-on into an oncoming minivan injuring two people as both vehicles veer off the road after the impact.
The crash happened on the R-258 Baikal motorway in Ulyotovsky District, Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, on 3rd August.
Dashcam footage shows the Mitsubishi Fuso lorry pulling out to overtake another vehicle and then hitting the Honda Freed minivan travelling in the opposite direction with a sickening crunch before both vehicles are seen stopped on the roadside.
According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Zabaikalsky Krai, the 36-year-old female driver and 32-year-old male passenger in the Honda were taken to a medical facility with injuries.
Police said they are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
