This is the moment a speeding biker is knocked off his motorbike by a police officer after racing through traffic at more than 100 miles per hour.
The chase happened in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on the afternoon of 15th August.
Video released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs shows the officer closing in on the rider and knocking him into a hedge at the side of the road after he had overtaken a bus by veering into the incoming lane.
The biker crashes into the greenery before getting up and angrily confronting the officer as the recording continues.
The pursuit had lasted for several kilometres along Primorskoye Highway until the officer forced the crash near house number 391.
Police confirmed that the 49-year-old rider was detained at the scene.
He did not require medical assistance.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against him for illegal overtaking and for driving with improper registration plates.
Authorities said 24 motorcyclists have died in accidents in the region since the start of the season, mostly due to speeding.
Three of those deaths happened in the first two weeks of August.
