This is the moment a young couple embrace after a horrific crash between two lorries destroys their car and they miraculously emerge unscathed.
The heavyweight accident took place on the federal highway A-120 in the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region, Russia, on 1st August.
Dashcam footage from a vehicle travelling behind shows a timber truck turning left across the road when it is struck head-on by an oncoming tanker, causing both vehicles to come to a stop across the carriageway.
A white SsangYong car directly behind is also struck and comes to a halt at the roadside, where the 27-year-old male driver and his female passenger step out, and he can be seen embracing her as she starts to get upset after realising what has happened.
Fuel can be seen flowing across the tarmac from the crash site, and local media later reported that a fire broke out and destroyed the remains of both lorries.
According to official reports, the timber truck was driven by a 59-year-old man, and the tanker driver, whose age was not given, died at the scene.
