BIRTHDAY TRAGEDY – Model Dies On Mykonos A Week After Last Post Celebrating Turning 25

A gorgeous male model has been found dead in a private pool at a hotel in Greece while his friend was rescued alive but unconscious.

The incident happened in the Ornos region of Mykonos on Saturday, 23rd August.

The victim was identified as Yago Luiz de Campos e Silva, 25, originally from Jacarei in Sao Paulo state in Brazil.

Hotel staff noticed water running down from the balcony of the men’s room and entered to investigate.

They found two young Brazilians submerged in the pool.

Yago was confirmed dead at the scene.

His companion, identified as actor and adult content creator Ryan Silveira, 23, still showed vital signs and was taken to hospital.

Ryan was initially in a coma but has since regained consciousness and is now lucid, speaking normally, and out of danger.

His family said he does not remember what happened.

Ryan's sister said she had been on a video call with the two men shortly before the incident, when they were planning to go to a party after swimming.

Yago had celebrated his 25th birthday on 16th August and shared his last post on social media that day, showing him on a yacht in Dubai.

Greek authorities launched an investigation and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Syros Court of First Instance ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Police said they found a syringe and four packets of white powder of unknown composition in the room. The material has been sent for laboratory analysis.

The Brazilian Embassy in Athens confirmed Yago’s death and said it is providing consular assistance to his family.
