This is the moment an elderly man rides his motorcycle onto freshly poured cement and becomes stuck as workers try in vain to stop him.
The incident took place in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, China, and was filmed by construction workers on an undated day.
In the footage, which was shared online on 16th August, wet cement covers a long stretch of road as the man steers his motorcycle onto it despite workers calling for him to stop.
He continues to ride forward as the tyres sink deeper into the soft cement, leaving tracks that damage the new road surface.
After several feet, the motorcycle becomes trapped and the man is unable to move any further.
Workers can be seen rushing to help him out of the cement, before later having to repair the damaged section of road.
They said that because of his age they could only assist him out of the wet concrete and then redo the work themselves.
The road remains under repair following the incident.
