This footage shows the moment a female lawyer accidentally reverses her car into a hotel lobby through a huge glass window after mixing up the pedals.

The incident took place in Bareilly, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, 25th July.

CCTV footage of the scene shows the car waiting in front of another vehicle, but suddenly it shoots back, brushing past the other car and smashing through the glass, showering the area in debris before finally coming to a stop in the lobby.

Local media reports said that no one was injured and the hotel manager and the lawyer, not named, managed to resolve everything amicably with a speedy deal that negated the need for cops to be involved.

Baradari Police Station Inspector Dhananjay Pandey rushed to the scene following the crash, but no police action was taken following the resolution of the matter between the two parties.
