This is the moment a huge lorry trailer loses control and side-swipes an oncoming car while turning a corner on a narrow road.

The incident happened near the village of Kriusha in the Ryazan region, Russia, on 1st July.

The dashcam video shows a car driving along a country road when a lorry approaching from the opposite direction suddenly veers to the side.

Its trailer swings out across the centre line, smashing into the front of the oncoming vehicle, which is forced to brake and steer off the road to avoid a worse impact.

The clip ends with the damaged car stopped on the roadside and the lorry also pulling over, with reports confirming that everyone escaped unhurt.
