This is the shocking moment a woman washed windows on the 27th floor of a high-rise building after stepping out onto the windowsill with no safety equipment.

The scene was recorded in the Sputnik residential complex in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, Russia, and the footage was shared online on 19th August.

In the video, the woman can be seen calmly wiping the glass from the outside of the building while balancing on the narrow ledge.

She confidently moves along the windowsill, even though a single slip could have sent her plunging from the dizzying height.

No safety equipment is visible in the footage.

Neighbours who watched the incident called the woman's actions unsafe.
