COLLISION COURSE – CCTV Captures Bus And Bike In Head-On Crash

This is the moment a biker does not appear to slow down at all as he hits a bus head-on when the larger vehicle moves into the opposite lane to go around a parked tuk-tuk.

The crash happened in the Golapar area of Haldwani, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, at around 6:45pm on Saturday, 23rd August, according to CCTV footage.

The video shows a passenger bus driving bypassing a vehicle parked on the road when a speeding bike comes into view.

The rider is seen overtaking another motorcyclist before colliding with the oncoming bus.

He does not appear to have time to even try and avoid the collision and crashes head-on into the front of the bus.

The impact leaves the biker trapped on the lower front section of the vehicle.

His motorbike is dragged underneath as the bus comes to a halt seconds later.

The rider was confirmed dead at the scene.

Authorities are understood to be investigating.
