This is the moment a horse runs into the path of an oncoming SUV and is struck head-on before getting up and trotting away apparently unharmed.
The incident happened in Kirensk, a district centre in the Irkutsk region, Russia, on 28th July.
Footage shows the animal running from the side of the road and crashing into the front of the moving vehicle as the driver brakes but is unable to avoid the impact. The horse is knocked to the ground but then scrambles to its feet and runs off.
According to local reports, the driver was not injured and the full extent of the damage to the vehicle has not yet been assessed.
The owner of the animal has not been identified while local residents have raised concerns over the dangers posed by livestock being left to wander freely in the town centre.
