This is the moment a 69-year-old woman is hit by a lorry after a van swerves into its lane as she crosses at a zebra crossing.
The crash happened in Kodinsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, on 12th August.
CCTV footage shows the woman stepping onto the unregulated pedestrian crossing as a white van pulls in the middle of the road and then slows down to let her pass.
The lorry then pulls to the right as it brakes in a squall of burning rubber but still hits the pensioner.
She is seen falling to the ground as the lorry comes to a halt partially on the roadside verge.
Police said she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
They confirmed the 51-year-old lorry driver was sober at the time.
Officers from the State Traffic Inspectorate have opened a criminal case for violation of traffic rules and operation of a vehicle against those involved, which carries a penalty of up to two years in prison.
The investigation is ongoing.
