This is the moment several women try to pull an obviously drunk electrician away from a fuse box as he staggers and sways and repeatedly zaps himself before finally collapsing on the floor as the lights go out.
The incident took place in Kursk, Russia, with footage shared on Russian social media sites on Sunday, 24th August.
Video shows the man working on the electrical panel with a headlamp as residents crowd the corridor.
He takes visible shocks while continuing to touch the wiring.
At one point, he falls to the ground in front of the box.
Neighbours stand in front of the panel to stop him from continuing.
The man had originally been called to deal with the blackout in one flat but after the electrician had been to work the blackout spread to the entire floor.
The electrician, having suffered a somewhat larger shock shortly before he collapsed, seemed content to sit on the stairs seemingly in the hope that somehow the lights would return on their own.
