A glamorous influencer who flaunted her luxury lifestyle online has been arrested with her fitness-loving boyfriend after police caught them unloading a huge amount of drugs from their car.
The couple were busted outside a property in Balneario Camboriu, a beachside city in Brazil which has some of the world's tallest and most expensive buildings, on Monday, 18th August.
Police officers said they found more than 170 kilos of cocaine and 13 kilos of crack at an apartment being used to store narcotics.
The haul was worth around BRL 3.5 million (GBP 470,000) if sold, and included cocaine packaged in 1-kilo blocks the size of chocolate boxes and crystallised crack.
Officers also seized cash, three smartphones, and two precision scales.
The influencer was named as Isabella Polli, who had described herself on social media as a digital sales specialist and regularly posted images showing "awards" and "success" from supposed e-commerce ventures.
Her partner was named as Julian Felipe Feitosa, who portrayed himself online as a model, lifeguard, and fitness enthusiast.
According to investigators, the total value of the drugs seized was about BRL 14 million (GBP 1.8 million).
Feitosa was arrested and confessed to the crime but did not reveal the origin or destination of the drugs, telling officers only that he had been hired to deliver them.
Polli was released after Feitosa took sole responsibility for the shipment, but police are continuing to investigate whether she was involved in the trafficking scheme.
Feitosa has been taken for a custody hearing.
Police say they are working to identify others connected to the operation.
