This is the moment a young woman who went to hospital for treatment bursts into tears when a doctor refused to treat her because of the way she was dressed.
The video of the incident was filmed at Meram State Hospital in the Meram district of Konya, Turkey, and it was shared on 26th August.
It shows the woman standing in the ophthalmology clinic as the doctor tells her to leave.
In the footage, the doctor says (in Turkish): "I don’t examine exhibitionists."
The woman replies: "You cannot call me an exhibitionist."
The doctor then repeats: "I am not examining you. Can you please leave?"
The video shows the woman crying during the exchange.
The doctor was later identified as ophthalmologist Hasan Huseyin Uysal.
He is also the head of the IHH Konya branch, part of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation, a Turkish NGO involved in international aid and social projects.
It has since emerged that Uysal previously made statements defending the marriage of 13-year-old children.
Because of his statements, he had been dismissed from his role as Deputy Chief Physician at Numune Hospital before later continuing his duties at Meram State Hospital.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that an administrative investigation has been launched into the incident.
It said in a statement: "Following the claims that the doctor 'did not examine the patient whose outfit he did not like' which appeared in some press outlets and social media channels, an administrative investigation has been launched against the relevant personnel.
"The investigation is being carried out meticulously."
The Konya Governorate also confirmed the launch of an investigation.
Its statement read: "Some media outlets are reporting that a doctor at a hospital in our province ‘did not examine a patient whose attire he did not like.’
"An investigation has been launched into the medic in question."
The Provincial Health Directorate confirmed that the patient was later examined by another doctor.
