This is the moment a building’s roof rolls like a giant window blind down the front of a buiilding before crashing onto parked cars below.

The collapse happened at Yongji Water Town in Guantao County, Handan, in Hebei Province, northern China, on 29th May.

Footage shows a large section of roof structure suddenly giving way and crashing down onto vehicles parked below.

A heavy cascade of tiles and building materials falls directly onto several parked cars as dust is thrown into the air.

The impact sends a cloud of debris across the area as the structure continues to break apart.

Multiple vehicles are left with shattered windows and crushed roofs after being struck by the falling material.

One car is seen heavily deformed under the weight of the collapsed roof sections.

A second video shows the aftermath of the incident in the same area later that day.

Recovery workers and machinery are seen on site as efforts begin to clear the damaged vehicles.

Cranes are used to lift and remove cars that were trapped beneath the debris.

The surrounding ground remains covered in broken tiles and scattered structural fragments.

No injuries were reported following the collapse.

Local authorities stated that the incident is not classified as a production safety accident under official definitions.

Officials said the cause of the roof failure is still under investigation.

Compensation for the damaged vehicles is expected to be handled by the contractor responsible for the building, according to local reports.

Removal work continued as crews cleared the remaining debris from the site.

The incident has drawn attention to concerns over construction safety and building maintenance in the area.

Investigations are ongoing to determine why the roof structure became detached.
