This is the moment a biker crashes into a car doing an illegal U-turn.
The incident took place in Yekaterinburg, in Russia, on Tuesday, 29th July.
The footage, filmed on the dashcam of another car, shows the biker, named as Evgeny Shorokhov, overtaking them at speed as he is heard accelerating.
But the car in front performs an illegal U-turn and the biker brakes hard to avoid crashing into it.
He goes over the handlebars and hits the car with force before ending up lifelessly lying in the road as other motorists gather around and the couple in the car filming swear and sound distressed at the sight.
The 59-year-old male driver of the car, a Hyundai, had 25 years of driving experience. He made the U-turn from the far right lane, failed to give way to a Yamaha motorcycle moving in the same direction in the left lane, and caused a collision, according to the authorities.
As a result, the motorcycle driver, who was wearing a helmet and protective gear, received fatal injuries and died at the scene before the ambulance arrived.
Evgeny's friend, named only as Pavel, told local media that his pal had always been very disciplined while riding and had been passionate about motorcycles for four years.
The police are investigating the crash.
