A bingo bunny girl has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking after her landlord tipped off police that she and her ex were selling narcotics from her rented apartment.
The sentence was handed down in Lima, Peru, after police raided Britney Alfaro's apartment in August 2022 and found more than five kilos of marijuana.
Alfaro, known to fans as 'The Bunny', hosted the adults only virtual raffle show Bingo Hot during the COVID 19 lockdown where she combined games of chance with entertainment for viewers on social media
She later left the show citing logistical and financial issues saying the pay was not enough for travel expenses and went on to run an urban clothing store a barbershop and an OnlyFans account.
Officers entered the apartment with authorisation from the landlord following complaints it was being used to store drugs.
They discovered 5.056 kilogrammes (11.14 lbs) of marijuana in containers along with an electronic scale cash and personal documents linking Alfaro and her then-partner Arthur Torres to the property.
Photographs were taken at the scene and surveillance footage from the building’s common areas was reviewed as part of the investigation.
Torres was given an 11 year prison term while both were ordered to pay GBP 4,215 in damages.
They were also banned from holding public office for seven years and two months.
Both remain in custody and their lawyers are considering an appeal
