This video shows the moment a pickup truck carrying 11 wedding guests flips onto its side after the driver loses control on a sharp bend while speeding through a hilly village road.
The crash happened in Malakaji, in the province of South Sulawesi in Indonesia, on Sunday, 3rd August.
Footage shows the black Suzuki Futura truck travelling at high speed before tipping over and sliding to a halt, spilling women and at least one child onto the roadside.
Bystanders rush to help the victims, some of whom are visibly panicked, with one child crying and being carried to safety.
The truck was reportedly overloaded, and police say the driver had been driving recklessly and lost control on the corner.
No fatalities were reported, though several passengers were injured and treated for minor wounds and shock at a nearby health centre.
Social media users criticised the driver, with one comment posted by '@darikamu' saying: "The driver was speeding at the bend so the wheels lifted on one side. On top of that, the truck was overloaded."
Another user, '@azd554', added: "This is why pickup trucks should not carry people. It’s not safe. The driver should be arrested to set an example. Imagine if there had been a ravine next to the road."
