This is the moment a woman riding her scooter was left critically injured after a herd of wild boars suddenly ran out of the bushes and crashed into her.
The accident happened in Thiruvananthapuram, in the Indian state of Kerala, at around 3pm on 8th August.
CCTV footage shows the woman riding on her bike when several wild boars burst out of the roadside vegetation.
One large boar slams into the side of her scooter, knocking her off and sending the vehicle skidding down the road.
She crashes heavily onto the tarmac, and her helmet is seen flying off as she lands.
The woman lies motionless as people from nearby homes rush to help her.
Several passers-by also stop, and an auto rickshaw driver pulls over to assist.
The woman, identified only as as Nisa, was taken to the nearby medical facility with severe injuries.
She remains under treatment.
