This is the moment police officers rescue 11 ducklings from a Police Academy storm drain and reunite them with their mother.
The footage was obtained from the New York City Police Department (NYPD) on 1st June and shows the incident at the Police Academy in New York City, in the US state of New York, on Saturday, 30th May.
The video shows officers gathered around a drain as they work to retrieve the trapped birds.
The NYPD said the ducklings had become stuck in the drain at the academy grounds. According to the NYPD, a total of 11 baby ducks were brought to safety during the operation.
The force said all of the rescued ducklings were successfully returned to their mother after being freed.
The NYPD said on 1st June: "The NYPD protects and serves all New Yorkers, even those with beaks!
"On Saturday, officers helped save 11 ducklings from a storm drain at the Police Academy.
"All baby ducks were reunited with their mother. Job well done by our crew at the Academy!"
