World-famous singer Jennifer Lopez was refused entry to a Chanel boutique by a security guard who failed to recognise her so she went next door instead and spent thousands of dollars during a three-hour shopping spree.
The incident happened at Istinye Park shopping centre in Istanbul, Turkiye, on 4th August.
Lopez had been browsing luxury stores when she attempted to enter the Chanel branch and was turned away by a guard who reportedly told her: "We're full."
Unfazed by the Chanel snub, Lopez reportedly replied: "Okay, no problem," before walking away.
She then visited neighbouring Celine and Beymen stores where she spent three hours shopping and made purchases reportedly worth tens of thousands of dollars, according to Turkish media.
Images show the star walking through the centre with her security team dressed in a Victoria Beckham tunic and shorts combined with round pink sunglasses.
Before she left the mall, the Chanel staff attempted to invite her inside but she declined the offer.
The next day, the star was on stage at Festival Park Yenikapi as part of the Istanbul Festival, where she performed for thousands of enthusiastic fans.
Her set included hits such as "On The Floor" and "Let's Get Loud" with the audience singing along and cheering enthusiastically throughout the night.
