This is the moment a wild boar pushes open a supermarket’s glass door and strolls inside while the shopkeeper naps behind the counter unaware an animal has entered.
The incident took place in Jiangsu, China, on 31st July, and was captured on the store’s internal CCTV camera.
In the footage, the wild boar uses its snout to open the front door and slowly walks inside, with the shopkeeper slouched behind the counter and a chair between him and the approaching animal.
He stirs and opens his eyes but appears uncertain if anyone has come in, looking around cautiously before suddenly realising the wild boar is in the shop and he jumps up in fear.
As the animal moves to the front of the counter, the man scrambles onto the desk, clearly worried the boar might return and bite him.
Outside, passers-by begin to gather and move to open the front door again, but before they can act the boar suddenly turns, crashes into the door, and flees the store.
