This is the moment a woman gets the fright of a lifetime as she watches a pram roll onto the tracks of a metro station and gets crushed under a moving train before remembering the baby is safe in its mother's arms.
The incident happened at the Chernaya Rechka station in the Russian city of St Petersburg on Thursday, 7th August.
In video footage from the platform, two women can be seen standing with a pram nearby before it suddenly starts rolling toward the tracks without anyone noticing.
It continues past the yellow line and falls between the rails just seconds before a train is due.
One of the women is seen holding a baby in her arms at the time. The other one panics and chases after the pram but is unable to catch it in time.
Seconds later, it disappears beneath an incoming train.
Other items can be seen scattered on the tracks near the pram, which was later retrieved.
Train services toward the final station, Parnas, on the blue line were temporarily disrupted.
