This is the moment a car smashes into a toll booth barrier at speed and bursts into flames as the engine compartment is completely destroyed.
The crash happened on the Northern Marmara Highway in Arnavutkoy, in Istanbul, Turkey, at around 1.50pm on 14th October.
The driver, named as Hamdi Dursun, was killed instantly, according to local media reports.
Footage shows the vehicle speeding towards the toll area before veering into the concrete barrier and erupting in flames.
Emergency services, including police, fire and medical teams, rushed to the scene following the crash.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze before health workers confirmed that the driver had died at the scene.
Local media reported that the car had been rented by the victim before the fatal journey towards Edirne.
Security camera footage captures the moment the vehicle smashes into the barrier and bursts into flames, scattering debris across the toll lanes.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The make and model of the vehicle remain unclear.
