A beautiful singer has revealed how she was repeatedly beaten by her influencer boyfriend who she says even punched her in the stomach when she was pregnant and slammed her head against a wall.
Funk singer Havena reported the alleged assaults where she had been kicked, slapped, thrown to the ground, suffocated, and dragged by the legs, to police in Goiania, Brazil, on 21st July.
She said one incident involving her former boyfriend, fitness influencer Glauber Sousa, occurred when she was a month away from giving birth to the couple’s son, Zayon, who was born on 11th May.
She said: "After he knocked me to the ground, he started punching me in the stomach.
"All because he didn't accept being held accountable for anything. I was very afraid of him."
She added: "I started bleeding and became desperate, thinking I was going to lose the baby."
She also claimed Sousa told her there was no point reporting the assaults, as he could "turn the entire internet" against her and "manipulate any situation".
On one occasion, she said she lost consciousness after he pulled her hair and slammed her head against a wall.
When she came to, she says she found him crying and begging her to forgive him.
Footage recorded by the singer and shared on 9th August shows part of an assault in which a man is heard telling her to "shut up" before realising he was being filmed.
After she reported him to police, Sousa was arrested and charged with bodily harm, injury and threat.
On social media, Sousa said his defence was preparing the necessary procedures and that he would make an official statement, claiming that he had a dossier of evidence in his favour.
