This is the moment a motorcyclist slams into a man jogging alongside his wife and instantly floors him before getting back on his bike and fleeing without helping.
The incident took place in the municipality of Cascavel, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, Brazil, on Sunday, 12th October.
The footage shows the man running next to a woman in a yellow shirt when a red motorcycle strikes him at speed, instantly knocking him to the ground and apparently causing him to hit his head.
The motorcyclist also falls but quickly gets up, gets back on the bike, and rides away without offering assistance.
The jogger, an unnamed 32-year-old man, suffered injuries to his arms and back, but despite the impact, he is reported to be in good health.
He was treated at a local emergency care unit, according to reports.
He and his wife usually run in Fortaleza but had decided to train in Cascavel that morning.
Authorities advised the couple to file a police report after confirming that no formal complaint had yet been made.
