This is the moment a young boy playing beside a narrow road is caught under the wheel of a turning car.
The incident happened in Mumbai, India's biggest city, at around 4:43pm on 11th August.
CCTV footage shows the boy sitting and playing close to the edge of the road as a grey Santro makes a slow turn.
As the car completes its turn, the boy stands up and walks into its path, disappearing into a blind spot in front of the driver.
The vehicle continues forward and the front wheel passes over him.
Locals rush to the scene as the driver stops and then reverses, and they pull the boy from underneath the car.
Police said he was taken immediately to Sion Hospital, where he is being treated for severe injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
