This is the moment a pickpocket gets more than he bargained for when the woman he robs sprints after him and wrestles him to the ground before calling cops on her stolen phone to have him arrested.
The incident took place in Khimki, in Moscow Oblast, in Russia, on 30th July.
CCTV footage of the scene shows the suspect, not named but said to be 38 years old, walking up to a woman sitting at a bus stop and grabbing her phone.
She clings onto it, but he rips it from her hands and takes off down the street. But the furious woman runs after him and catches up with him.
She tackles him to the ground and takes her phone back as another man comes to help her, giving the crook a kick as he pulls him away.
But the suspect, who reportedly has priors, was later detained when she called cops and a video of him shows him looking close to tears as he is interviewed behind bars.
