A Russian National Guard emergency SUV crashed into a UAZ van at an intersection, causing the van to flip onto its side before landing back on its wheels as it skids across the tarmac.

The collision happened on the morning of 21st August at the junction of Ostrovsky and Komsomolskaya streets in Toguchin, Russia.

Video shows the Russian National Guard vehicle approaching the intersection with its lights and siren activated before colliding with the UAZ.

The footage captures the moment the impact flips the UAZ onto its side before it continues moving by inertia and lands back on its wheels.

Equipment and a ladder can be seen flying out of the van onto the road as it overturns.

According to preliminary information, nobody was injured in the accident.

Officials said the patrol car was on its way to a guarded facility after an alarm signal was received when the crash happened.
