This video shows a police officer arresting a supermarket's amazing Spiderman prankster who is climbing upside down in a supermarket using the ceiling lights.
The incident took place in the Penha neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, on 26th July, with the footage showing the man inching along the lights when a police officer scales the shelves, marches up to him and grabs him by the top of his hoodie.
A large crowd of customers can be seen cheering the cop as he eventually yanks the suspect off the lights and he comes tumbling down, before falling onto the top of the shelves, where the cop immediately pins him down and cuffs him.
Supermercado Guanabara confirmed the incident, with local reports also comparing the suspect to Spider-Man.
It was also filmed by amused shoppers who gathered to watch the arrest of the prankster.
The man was treated by medics before being taken into custody. It was unclear at the time of writing if he had been charged and whether he would have to pay for the damage to the fixtures and fittings.
