This is the moment a sobbing influencer who was livestreaming from home when his daughter drowned in the family pool returns in front of the camera moments later to tell his viewers about the tragedy.
The incident happened at the home in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 31st July.
Renato Tsukasa, better known online as Fanho RP, confirmed the death of his three-year-old daughter Giulia on social media, where he posted a video tribute with the caption: “Giulia, my daughter. I love you forever.”
The child is believed to have climbed over the barrier around the pool and was found in the water by her maternal grandmother while the influencer was streaming content live to his followers.
He wrote: "My little daughter Giulia passed away today. Unfortunately, she jumped over the fence surrounding the pool while I was working.
"My mother-in-law didn't see her jump, but when she saw her in the pool, she screamed and I ran over...
"When I got to the pool, she was already unconscious. I tried to revive her, but I couldn't. We took her to the hospital, but they couldn't get her out of cardiac arrest due to drowning."
In one of the most heartbreaking moments, the influencer was still broadcasting when he received the news and left the screen.
He returned a short while later, soaked from having jumped into the pool in a failed attempt to save his daughter, and told his followers what happened through tears.
According to Renato, he tried to provide first aid to his daughter before she was taken to the hospital.
He said: "I gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, I gave her cardiac massage, but it didn't help..."
Images shared later show that the pool was surrounded by a childproof fence, but somehow Giulia managed to get over it.
Her mother, Juliana Ramos, also posted messages mourning the child’s death.
She wrote: “I will carry this smile forever. Mum loves you so much, daughter. You were my whole world and I will carry this guilt with me forever. I'm sorry for failing you.
"Mummy opened her eyes hoping it was all a nightmare and you were here in bed with us, like always, but all I found was your little doll right there, waiting for me."
The couple, who have two other children, have asked for privacy while they grieve.
