A bus was left hanging over the edge of a deep hole after the asphalt collapsed beneath it during a heavy downpour.
The incident took place at an intersection in the city of Kazan in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan on 3rd August.
According to the Tatarstan State Traffic Inspectorate, the collapse affected two traffic lanes and was likely caused by the intense rainfall earlier that day.
Photographs and video footage shared by the department show the front and rear half of the bus suspended on the remaining sections of road above a deep cavity.
Local media reported that all passengers on board were safely evacuated and there were no casualties.
Traffic officers were at the scene directing vehicles, and temporary traffic flow was organised through the oncoming lane, with one lane open in each direction.
