This is the moment a woman using a hair dryer to blow-dry her hair gets the scare of her life when it suddenly explodes.
The incident took place in Guangdong, China, on 7th August.
Video footage shows the woman sitting on a chair in front of a mirror with the hair dryer in her right hand as sparks burst out of the device.
She reaches to unplug the power cord before it explodes just a moment after she leaves it on the floor.
Local firefighters said hair dryers, while small and widely used, can pose hidden dangers, including burns, electric shocks, and even fires.
They urged the public to take care when purchasing and using the devices.
