This is the moment a woman getting off a tram runs across a road on a red light and is knocked flying by a car.
The incident took place in Ulan-Ude, in Buryatia, in Russia, on Saturday, 26th July.
CCTV footage of the scene shows the woman suddenly running across the pedestrian crossing towards the pavement, but the light is green for cars.
She appears to see one car coming straight at her but continues running, apparently assuming that the vehicle would not hit her.
But it hits her legs full on and sends her flying through the air.
She lands in a heap in the road and does not move as the car eventually comes to a stop further down the road.
Local media reports said that the woman, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The police are investigating the incident.
