Video shows how seats drop down and the machine grinds to a halt while onlookers scream in shock.
A young man and a woman were injured when the ride broke apart.
Both victims were given first aid immediately and avoided major harm.
The video shows people rushing to pull them free as others scatter from the area.
Police officers arrived quickly after the collapse.
They shut down the ride for security reasons and restored order at the fairground.
The ride is remaining closed while officials carry out safety checks.
Footage of the incident has gone viral on social media where it has sparked fresh concerns about ride safety.
